The kids did GREAT at the dentist. No cavities, no problems. The dentist didn't make a big deal about Elijah's thumb sucking OR his bruxism. He said "He'll grow out of it." He also said that Elijah is not doing enough damage to his teeth to doing anything preventative. I don't know what I think of this. Is the dr. saying that Elijah has to do more damage before they fix the problem? Whatever. We'll think of something.

You know, Nicholas is still sucking his thumb & the Denitst (at EVERY visit) tells me not to worry. He says that he can't do any permanent damage to his teeth or his mouth. He says, "Oh, he'll grow out of it". So, I guess he will. I mean, I can't picture him getting his high school diploma with his thumb in his mouth, so I'm not worried. As far as the teeth grinding go, how about a mouth guard? He'll probably grow out of that too. Maybe he's just stressed, just having started school & all. My boys started today... I'm very bored & very lonely...
