Brianna is becoming such a cool kid. I just love hanging out with her and chatting about stuff. Here is a picture of her meeting Abe Lincoln on July 4th. She even knew he was the 16th president when he asked her. Looking at the photo, he is kindof close to her, kindof scary, but I was there!

I went to Motherhood to try the dress on, it wasn't that great. Not for what they're asking. Hopefully I'll find one my size on ebay.

We watched a comedy last night with a gloraphobic (sp?) on there. It was hilarious. David and I could not stop laughing at him since BOTH of our Moms have the disease. There was one part where the man was on the phone with his brother and the scene went like this:

"I don't know man, they look kindof scary!"
"Harry, they're fine. They're just girl scouts! Now, go outside and get the cookies I ordered."
"I can't, they look like they're going to kill me!"
"Harry, GO GET THE COOKIES!"
"FINE!! You can eat the thin mints at my funeral!" He hangs up the phone.
(at this point David and I are laughing so hard we can't breathe. I know it doesn't sound very funny on paper, but it's the fact that we have probably had similar conversations with our mothers)

So the ill man goes outside with a plastic sword in his hand making sure that the sun doesn't touch his skin (he's afraid of the outside/sun/people). He's pinned himself up against the house trying to remain in the shade the the gutter system is providing. Eventually he runs out of house and must face the girl scouts at the mailbox. He then starts franticly (sp?) screaming and waving his plastic sword in a "chopping" motion towards the girl scouts. The scene is pretty scary for a young girl. They all scream and the girls run away, leaving the red wagon of cookies behind. The ill man grabs the cookies, runs in his house, throws the cookies inside, all while screaming, "SAFE ROOM! SAFE ROOM!" He then runs into his safe room (a closet) and the scene is over.

Now, I don't mean to joke people, this is a serious disease. I just think that David and I were able to laugh off our constant frustrations with our Mothers. My mom is almost healed from the disease. She can now drive herself to the mall, and hold down a job. But, this doesn't mean I've forgotten what it was like to live with her when she struggled with the disease. David's mother is still not doing good.

Why do I post all this? I don't know, because I think it's funny.

MY CURRENT SCRAPBOOK

Since I don't have all the time I used to to scrapbook, this is my online version. Eventually when I print my photos, I can come back here and copy that stats.

I still do scrapbook, but mostly for writing articles. I will post those pages sometimes. You can always see my work and read my articles at www.Scrapjazz.com
